Who should (and shouldn’t ) Get Chemical Peels

Let’s start here:

Chemical peels are incredible tools in the treatment room, but

timing, skin condition + skin tone matter.

You’re a great candidate if you want to:

~ clear acne + congestion

~ fade dark spots or uneven skin tone

~ smooth rough texture

~ brighten dull skin

~ soften fine lines

You should not get a peel right now if:

X Your skin barrier is compromised X

( red, irritated, stinging, flaky)

X You’re over-exfoliating already X

(acids + scrubs +retinol overload)

X You have an active rash or infection X

X You’re using strong actives incorrectly X

( retinoids, benzoyl peroxiode, etc.)

X You’re not consistent with SPF X

(No SPF = no peel. Full stop.)

Peels work best when your skin is

healthy enough to respond well.

Important note:

Darker skin tones can absolutely get peels

but they must be done correctly.

Real Talk:

The best results come from:

~ proper skin prep

~ the right peel for your skin

~ a series (not a one-off)

~ good home care

~ SPF every single day

A good aesthetician won’t just say yes.

They’ll let you know when to wait, how to prep,

and when your skin is ready.

Peels are a strategy, not a quick fix.

That’s how you get the results you want, safely.
